Edit Neuro Drive slides, spreadsheets and docs right inside Claude

Add the Neuro Drive connector and the report Claude builds opens as an editor card in the conversation, so you can watch the edits land and fix anything yourself.

Finish the report in the conversation that started it

Ask Claude for a meeting deck based on last week's ad performance and the content comes back fast. Turning it into slides, adding a column to a table and polishing the wording, though, still meant opening the file and doing it by hand.

Add the Neuro Drive connector to Claude and that work stays in the conversation. When Claude creates a deck in Drive, an editor card opens in the chat and you watch the slides fill in. Ask for changes in chat or make them directly in the card. This post uses the Claude desktop app; the same connector also works in ChatGPT.

Add one more connector

The Pango Neuro connector, which reads your ad data, and the Neuro Drive connector, which edits files, are added separately. To build a report from your ad accounts' results, you need both.

  1. Copy the Neuro Drive connector URL from the AI apps screen in your Pango Neuro workspace.
  2. In Claude, go to Customize › Connectors, add a custom connector, and paste the URL with a name such as Pango Neuro Drive.
  3. Click Connect and sign in to Neuro in your browser. There's no token to create.

You can also start from the web editor. Choose Edit in another AI app and a new Claude conversation opens with a request to open that file already in the input box. Check it and press send.

Hand it off in chat, check it in the card

Claude creates a new file in Drive or opens an existing one, then edits it one slide, table or section at a time. Because it doesn't rewrite everything at once, you can follow the changes in the card and redirect partway through.

To change one part, select it in the card. A note reading “Selected · Tell Claude what to change” appears at the top, and Claude works from that selection on your next request. Short phrases like “this table” or “this paragraph” are enough.

After selecting the table, we asked for a CPA column. The change appears in the same card and saves automatically. The figures are examples.Tap or click to zoom and view the full screen

The editor in the card is the same one as in web Drive. If you can edit the file, you can change text or move shapes right in the card, and teammates who have the file open on the web see Claude's edits in real time.

FormatWhat you can do from chatNote
Slides (pptx)Create, add and edit slides, edit tables and shapesFor a new deck, you can choose a design guide from the Pango Neuro connector first.
Spreadsheets (xlsx) and docs (docx)Create, edit tables, formulas and paragraphsUses the same editing tools as the Drive editing assistant.
Lens and imagesCreate and edit Lens pages; edit existing imagesA Lens is a page, so it can't be downloaded as a file.

How saving and downloading work

  • Autosave: Changes are saved to Drive within a few seconds, and the card header shows Unsaved changes, Saving… and Saved.
  • Downloads: The card's Download button, or a request in chat, gives you the last saved version. A download link from chat works for 10 minutes.
  • Finding files: Files are found by name, matching from the start of a word, so give the exact file name or its first word.
  • Permissions: You can open and edit files you have edit access to. With view access, you can only download.
  • If the card doesn't appear: In apps that can't show cards, you get an editor link instead, and edits run in the browser tab you open from it.
