Connect Moloco to Neuro to Review Mobile UA Performance and Campaign Targets
Connect your Moloco Cloud DSP ad account to Neuro to compare campaign, creative format, and country performance alongside MMP cohorts—and update budgets, optimization targets, and campaign status in one workflow.
Review Moloco Performance and Optimization Targets in One Conversation
When reviewing mobile app user acquisition (UA) and re-engagement budgets, the first step is checking how each campaign's configured Target CPI, Target CPA, or Target ROAS compares against actual recent delivery. Spotting efficiency gaps across creative formats, countries, or OS versions—and cross-checking those numbers against post-install MMP cohorts—is what makes budget reallocation reliable.
You can now connect Moloco (Moloco Cloud DSP) to your Neuro workspace to handle this entire flow in one conversation. Compare campaign, ad group, and creative performance alongside your other UA channels and MMP cohorts, then update budget schedules, optimization targets, and campaign status after review.
How to Connect: Authenticate with Workplace ID and API Key
Connecting Moloco is a two-step process: authenticate with your Workplace ID and API Key from the Moloco Ads portal, then select the specific Ad Account you want to analyze.
- Sign in to the Moloco Ads portal and create or copy your API Key under [API Access] in your account settings at the bottom left.
- Prepare your Workplace ID and API Key.
- In your Neuro workspace connections screen, select Moloco and enter your Workplace ID and API Key.
- Once verified, Neuro lists the Ad Accounts registered under that Workplace. Select the Ad Account to analyze and operate in this workspace.
Metrics and Breakdowns You Can Analyze
Neuro checks your connected Ad Account's currency, timezone, and campaign configuration first, then queries up to 184 days of performance data. Instead of exporting separate reports, you can combine campaign, creative format, country, and OS breakdowns in a single request.
| Question | What Neuro Compares | Reading Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Which campaigns and creative formats drive installs? | Compares spend, impressions, clicks, installs, conversions, CPI, CPA, and IPM (installs per thousand impressions) across campaigns, ad groups, and creatives. | Breaking results down by creative format (banner, video, native) shows which format drives the strongest install conversion efficiency. |
| Are revenue and ROAS meeting target? | Aggregates revenue, spend, and conversion event counts in the ad account's currency. | Because Moloco's raw report does not return a pre-computed ROAS column, Neuro calculates ROAS directly from revenue divided by spend. |
| Where do unit costs diverge by country, OS, or inventory? | Breaks performance down by country, OS (iOS vs. Android), exchange, and sub-publisher. | You can filter for specific tracked events such as purchases or subscriptions to compare cost per action. |
| Do post-install retention and LTV back up the volume? | Cross-checks Moloco campaign numbers against cohort retention and cumulative revenue from AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Airbridge in the same workspace. | Moloco console attribution and MMP cohort windows use different counting rules, so compare both side by side. |
Starter Prompt for Moloco UA Reviews
When reviewing Moloco campaigns, ask Neuro to display each campaign's configured optimization target (Target CPI, CPA, or ROAS) right next to its recent actual performance.
After reviewing the table, you can ask Neuro to preview a before-and-after comparison for any daily budget or target CPA/ROAS adjustment you want to make.
Updating Budgets, Optimization Targets, and Status Safely
Once you decide which campaigns to adjust, you can request changes directly in chat. Before applying any update, Neuro reads the campaign's current budget mode and optimization settings and presents a side-by-side comparison of the current and proposed values.
- Enable or pause campaigns: Start delivery or immediately pause selected campaigns.
- Adjust budget schedules: Update daily budgets, day-of-week weekly budgets, or flexible weekly budgets in the account's currency while preserving the campaign's existing schedule structure.
- Update optimization targets: Adjust Target CPI, Target CPA, or Target ROAS values configured on the campaign.
If a paused campaign has an unacknowledged launch notice or policy disclaimer in the Moloco Ads console, Neuro surfaces the notice text in chat instead of forcing the campaign live. You can review the notice in the console and resume safely—while pausing an active campaign always executes immediately.
