Connect Criteo

Connect Criteo

Once you connect your Criteo account, you can pull retail media and retargeting campaign data just by chatting with the AI—and even review ops tasks like turning ad sets on/off or adjusting budgets when needed.

How to connect

  1. In Workspace > Data sources, Criteo Select .

  2. Log in with Criteo Click to sign in with your Criteo Marketing Solutions account and approve access.

  3. From the advertiser list, select the advertiser you want to connect to this workspace. A single Criteo account can access multiple advertisers, so make sure you pick the one you actually run campaigns for.

Make sure you’re signed in with an account that has Administrator access to the ad account you want to connect.

What you can do after connecting

  • Performance overview: Analyze spend, impressions, clicks, revenue, and ROAS by campaign, ad set, ad, device, channel, and date.

  • Operations changes: Within your granted permissions, you can review ad set start/stop actions, ad set budget changes, and campaign/ad set creation or edits.

  • Channel comparison: Compare Criteo performance side by side with other connected data like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4.

Important notes

For Criteo, revenue and ROAS are calculated differently depending on PostClick, PostView, and lookback window settings. When you compare performance with other platforms, make sure you specify these settings and interpret the numbers accordingly.
When Ad Operations Mode is off, conversations are read-only and used just to view and analyze your data. For any changes that affect the live account—like updating budgets or starting/stopping ad sets—make sure to review and confirm the changes before you apply them.
Once you’ve connected for the first time, try a prompt like: “Summarize the last 30 days of Criteo campaign and ad set performance based on a 30-day post-click window, and instead of applying any budget change recommendations, just organize everything in a table.”
