Connect Microsoft Ads (Bing)

Connect Microsoft Ads (Bing)

Once you connect Microsoft Ads (Bing), Pango Neuro can analyze your performance reports and campaign structure directly in chat. It will answer prompts like “Summarize last month’s Bing campaign performance” or “Find keywords with low conversion rate” using your live Microsoft Advertising data.

Before you connect, check how you sign in

Microsoft Advertising only lets you sign in again using the same method you chose when you first created the account. Make sure you know which option you originally used.

  • Microsoft account — Used if you signed up with a work/school account (Azure AD) or a personal Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail, etc.).

  • Google account — Used if, when signing up for Bing Ads, you clicked “Sign in with Google” (Google Workspace or Gmail).

If you sign in differently from how you originally registered, the connection will be rejected. Example: If you originally signed up with Google but try to log in with a Microsoft account, your account won’t be found. Microsoft automatically handles whether it’s a work/school or personal Microsoft account, so just pick whichever is correct between Microsoft or Google.

How to connect

  1. In Data sources, select Microsoft Ads.

  2. Choose the sign-in option you confirmed above (Sign in with Microsoft account or Sign in with Google account).

  3. In the popup, sign in with Microsoft (or Google) and approve access permissions.

  4. From the accessible account list, select the account to connect. Accounts are shown as Account ID · Customer ID, so if you have several, distinguish them by these numbers.

Once connected correctly, you’ll see Microsoft Ads (Bing) under “Connected data” on the left side of the chat.

What you can do after connecting

  • Performance reports — Pull and aggregate metrics like impressions, clicks, spend, and conversions by date range.

  • View campaign structure — Inspect the hierarchy of campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords.

  • Keyword analysis — Analyze performance by keyword to spot both under‑ and over‑performers.

  • Campaign management — Create, edit, pause, and delete campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords.

To create, edit, or delete campaigns and other items, you must enable Ad Operations Mode, and always double‑check what you’re applying changes to before running. New items are created paused by default so you can review them and avoid accidental spend or unwanted impressions before turning them on.

If something isn’t working

  • “We can’t find your account” — Most often this means you signed in with a different method than you used at signup. If you registered with Google, sign in with your Google account; if you registered with Microsoft, sign in with your Microsoft account and try again.

  • Account list is empty — The signed‑in user doesn’t have Microsoft Advertising access. Try again with an account that has permissions, or ask your account admin to grant you access.

  • Sign‑in window error or popup closes — Allow popups in your browser and try again. If it still fails, contact your ops team.

When you connect, Pango Neuro only requests permission to view and manage your Microsoft Advertising data. It does not access your email, contacts, or any other account information, and only uses data required for ad analytics and management.
