Connect AppsFlyer
Connect AppsFlyer to automatically match and analyze your mobile app’s installs, events, LTV, cohorts, and retention data against ad spend. Generate an AppsFlyer V2 API Token and connect it to your workspace.
What you’ll need
AppsFlyer admin permissions — Only admins (or higher) can view or issue V2 API tokens. If you don't have access, ask your account admin to create one for you.
At least 1 app registered in AppsFlyer
Step 1 — Generate V2 API token
Open the account menu at the top right of your AppsFlyer dashboard Security CenterGo to page.
AppsFlyer tokens In the section Manage your AppsFlyer API tokensOpen.
API V2 tokenCreate a new token or copy an existing one. (V1 tokens are no longer supported as of 2023-09)
Your token is a JWT string longer than 700 characters. Save it somewhere secure (like a password manager) before closing this window.
Official notice: Manage AppsFlyer tokens
Step 2 — Add Pango Neuro IPs to your API allowlist (required if you use an allowlist)
All AppsFlyer API calls from Pango Neuro are made from a single static IP, so you only need to allowlist that one IP.
IP to register: 3.39.125.53
How to set up
Top right in AppsFlyer Account menu (email dropdown) → Security CenterTaking you there...
API allowlist in the section Manage API allowlistClick .
+ AddClick and enter the IP above, then Applyclick . (For a single IP,
3.39.125.53/32You can also enter it in this format.)Active Make sure the toggle is turned on Save listSave as. (Just saving the list won’t change the status, so Check the toggle separately.)
If your account isn’t using the allowlist (inactive), you can skip this step and still connect. However, the token can be called from any IP, so for security we recommend keeping Allowlist set to Active and adding the IPs above.
Official notice: Set up your API allowlist
Step 3 — Connect in Pango Neuro
Workspace Connected account → AppsFlyer Click the card.
Issued in step 1V2 API tokenenter View app listClick .
If the token is valid, you’ll see a list of apps in the account. Select the app you want to analyze. Select multipleYes, you can (e.g. iOS and Android for the same app).
Connected to N appsJust hit this and you’re done. The token is encrypted and stored once at the workspace level, and all selected apps share and reference that same token.
Examples
Once you’ve connected, you can ask for analyses in plain language right in chat. Pango Neuro automatically recognizes your connected apps, so you don’t need to provide the app_id manually.
“Show me this month’s app installs by channel.”
“Compare 7-day retention for iOS vs Android.”
“Channel/campaign with the highest LTV this quarter.”
“ROAS trend for retargeting campaigns.”
404 is returned. In that case, ask your AppsFlyer contact (integration manager / CSM) to activate it. Standard aggregate reports for installs, events, and revenue work without any additional add-ons.Troubleshooting
Cohort, LTV, and retention reports are failing with a 404 error
In your account plan, If your plan doesn’t include the Cohort API / Master API add-on. This isn’t a parameter issue, so changing the value and retrying will still fail. AppsFlyer My plan Check the feature list in and ask your AppsFlyer rep to enable the add-on if needed. (Install and event tracking will still work normally without the add-on.)
It says the token is invalid
All V2 tokens created before 2026-03-10 have been invalidated. Please issue a new token in Security Center and update it here.
This token doesn’t have permission to view the app list.
Most of Pango Neuro’s IP isn’t on your account’s API allowlist, so occurs. In step 2, go to Security Center → API allowlist and add this IP, then Active toggle and Save listCheck how far you got in the steps above. If it still keeps happening, confirm that the user who issued the token has Admin permissions.
I want to replace my token
After you generate a new token in AppsFlyer, disconnect your existing AppsFlyer connections and reconnect them using the new token. The workspace token store automatically deduplicates tokens based on their fingerprint.
